Bubba's Dead-e-kay-shon

This morning when I woke up Daddy gave me a bath and put some clothes on me. After everyone got dressed we went to church. When we got there Mimi, Pawpaw Phil, Nana, Pawpaw Tam, Granny, and Aunt Terri were there!! They said something about coming because Bubba was being “dead-e-kate-ed” whatever that means. I kept running away from Mommy and Daddy during church. It was so funny! I would run down the aisle and then run into the row in front of them. Mommy or Daddy would come running after me. I think they like to play chase. Daddy took me out of the church a few times which is great! I love when he does that. It’s so boring in there. When he brought me back in we all went up to the front, which was strange. Usually we just hang out in the back row. We went up on the stage and Daddy handed Bubba to the Pastor. He walked around with him held up high in the air and everyone was looking at him. I can understand why, he’s awfully cute. Bubba didn’t really like it though. He started crying so the Pastor handed him back to Daddy. That made him happier. We stood up there for a little while and then we went back to our seats. Luckily Daddy let me go home with Mimi and Pawpaw. I watched Imagination Movers with them until Mommy called us. Then we left and went to Bobby’s to eat lunch. I ate some grilled cheese, French fries, baked potato, fish fingers, hushpuppies, and some chocolate cake. It was yummy!! Then we went back home. I was so sleepy that I fell asleep before we got home. When I woke up I got to play outside in the dirt with Daddy a little more.

The Best Day Ever

Today was the best day ever! Not only did I get to play outside all day, but I also got to ride on the lawn mower and the tractor! Mommy drove Daddy, Bubba, and me out to Uncle Todd’s house this morning so Daddy could get the tractor. When we got back home Mimi and Mawmaw were at my house! I watched Imagination Movers with them and I ate some cookies until Daddy got home. Then Mommy, Mimi, Mawmaw, and Bubba left. I stayed home with Daddy and helped with work. We moved dirt from the backyard to the front yard. I’m not exactly sure why. I think Daddy just likes to play in the dirt like me. When Mommy got back home I came inside for a little bit and rested with her. I was tired and hot! I only stayed inside for a little while though because I knew that Daddy needed my help outside. I fell asleep early tonight because I was so tired! It was such a fun day!

Lost Teddy Bear

**LOST**

One light blue, very yummy, soft teddy bear. He is a little ratty from being washed so many times. He is my best friend and I am willing to offer a reward of 3 kisses to whomever finds it for me. It might be difficult because I suspect Mommy and Daddy are in on his disappearance and they can be very sneaky. It is very hard for me to sleep at night so please, keep your eyes out for him and return to me immediately if found.

Our Trip to the Doctor

Today mommy took me and Bubba to the doctor. Mommy said it was lucky for me that Aunt Terri came with us. When we got to the office Aunt Terri took me to look at the fishes. There were some big ones and some small ones. It looked like I should be able to touch them but somehow I could not quite get my hand to them. They were much nicer fish than the one that daddy caught at Aunt April’s house the other day. Much less scary. When they said my name Mommy and Aunt Terri took us back into a little room where they laid Bubba down on something they called a “scale” to weigh and measure him. Then I stepped up onto a big boy scale with a froggie on the top that I got to play with. They said I weight 27 pounds. Mommy said I was a big boy. Then they took us into another small room. The nice lady asked Mommy a bunch of questions about Bubba. Meanwhile, I found some interesting toys. There was a wagon that I pushed around the room. Mommy told me not to slam it into the wall, but it made a really cool noise so I did it anyway. When the nice lady left Mommy gave Bubba to Aunt Terri and we sat down and read a book all about trucks. It has some really cool pictures in it. After a few minutes a man came in and started to look at me. He looked in my ears and down my throat. Then he looked at my arms and legs. Mommy told him that my rash looked much better and he agreed. He said I had something called a “sin-us infecshun” and he told Mommy that he could fix it. Then he made Mommy lay Bubba down on a table and he started looking at him. I went back to playing with my wagon and getting into trouble. I figured out how to open the door. I tried to leave but Aunt Terri wouldn’t let me. She sat me down in a chair beside her. I am not sure what happened but I fell out of the chair and landed on the floor on my face! The nice man gave me a sucker to make me feel better. I liked him. After he left the nice lady came in again. I don’t think that Bubba thought she was nice though. She did something to his legs and he screamed really loud for a long time. He stopped crying when Mommy picked him up though. Finally we were able leave. Mommy and Aunt Terri loaded us back up into Mommy’s truck and we went home. When Daddy got home we got back in the truck and went to MawMaw’s house. I got to eat mashed potatoes (my favorite) and macaroni and cheese. Mommy kept trying to hide some nasty beans in my potatoes. She thought I wouldn’t realize but I did. I just pulled them out of my mouth and kept eating my potatoes. I didn’t want them to go to waste! They were so yummy. After everyone finished eating I went outside and played for a little while with Daddy. When it got dark outside we went back home. Bubba cried the whole way. I don't like it when he cries so I held his hand on the way home. I love him. When we got home Mommy gave me something gross to drink. She squirted it into my mouth with something she called a “medisin droper.” It made me really sleepy so I laid my head down on Mommy’s shoulder and fell asleep. I think Mommy and Daddy lost my teddy bear. I keep asking for it and they act like they don’t know what I’m talking about. I think they are embarrassed to tell me they lost it. I guess I’m going to have to go to Grandma Campbell’s and tell her I need another one.

4/19/09

This morning when I woke up I was all itchy and red. Mommy and daddy didn’t know what was wrong with me. I think that it has something to do with me going fishing with daddy yesterday. There were a lot of bugs out there and I think one of them bit me on the ankle. Mommy called the doctor and he told her that he thought it sounded like hives. Whatever those are. She gave me a lot of yummy grape tasting medicine that she calls “Tie-len-all” today. She also gave me some not quite so tasty cherry medicine that I think she called “Been-a-drill.” They made me feel really tired. I don’t know what was wrong with my bath today but it was really cold. I didn’t like it very much. Mommy also forgot to put clothes on me today. I only wore a diaper all day long at home! Oh yeah, and tonight mommy took my diaper off and sat me down on my new chair again. I hadn’t been sitting there too long and I realized I had to pee-pee. I didn’t want to mess my new chair up so I got up and squatted down in the floor to pee. Mommy just shook her head and told me that pee-pee is suppose to go in my new chair. She’s crazy. I got in trouble when I peed on my bed last week. I’m not peeing on my new chair.
