Yard Sale

This morning Mommy woke me up really really really early. Even earlier than she does when I have to go to school. She got Bubba up too, which is unusual. Usually he gets to sleep in, which I do not think is fair at all. Anyway, after she got us ready she put us in her truck. It was still dark outside!! She drove us to Aunt Terri’s house. That is when I really knew that something strange was going on. All of Aunt Terri’s stuff was out in the front yard?! Mommy started pulling things out of her truck and throwing them out on her front yard too. THEN Aunt April pulls up and puts a lot of her stuff in Aunt Terri’s front yard. By this time I’m convinced they are all crazy. However, there are a lot of toys out there in the front yard so I just started playing. I found a vacuum cleaner, which everyone knows is my favorite toy, and started vacuuming the yard. All of a sudden, a bunch of cars started pulling up in Aunt Terri’s driveway. They all started going through Aunt Terri, Mommy’s, and Aunt April’s stuff. I kept my eye on them to make sure they didn’t take any of my toys. They all had an arm full of stuff when they left! I don’t exactly understand why they were taking all of our stuff, but it seemed to make everyone happy so I just went with it. We stayed outside all day while people kept pulling up and taking all of our stuff. I got to ride on the tractor with Uncle Myron and play with Mimi and Pawpaw some. Bubba slept most of the day, which is what he always does. Finally Daddy came over and helped us load up all the stuff that nobody took with them and we all went home. I slept really good that night. I worked hard and was really tired!

Memorial Day Weekend

This was such a fun weekend! Sunday me and Daddy went to Aunt Tiffany and Uncle Todd’s new house to help them move in. We also helped to build Hunter’s new swing set. After we helped them get all moved in me and Daddy went back home and picked up Mommy and Bubba. We took them back with us! Daddy grilled hot dogs and hamburgers for everyone. My favorite part of the day was getting to play with all of Hunter’s toys. My favorite was his John Deere Gator. I drove it all day, well at least until it quit working. Mommy said that the battery died. I don’t know what that means. I just wanted her to fix it and she said she couldn’t. I think that she probably could have, but she was tired from chasing me all over the yard. Hunter and Uncle Todd got into their new swimming pool. I really wanted to also. Daddy got me all dressed and put me in. I started crying, it was way too cold. I will just stick with playing in the bathtub. On Monday we got up and went to Aunt April’s house. Mac has a John Deere tractor so I drove that all day. Mommy and Daddy played volleyball most of the day. They tried to get me in the swimming pool again, but it was still too cold for me! Bubba slept most of the day. Seriously, like he took a 4 hour nap. That’s twice as long as I slept. Mommy said it’s because I am big and he’s just a baby. Anyway, it was a really fun weekend. I hope that Mommy and Daddy take the hint and buy me a John Deere tractor really soon. It seems like all my friends have one.

My Excitable Weekend

Well I had an excitable weekend. Pawpaw Tam was at my house on Saturday morning. Him, Daddy, and Uncle Earl built me a playground in my backyard. It’s just like the one I have at school only I don’t have to take turns with anyone on this playground. I helped them a lot. Mommy gave me some yummy cherry tasting medicine this morning because she said my leg was swollen where some mow-skeet-o bit me apparently. All I know was it was itchy and the medicine helped. By lunch time I was really tired so I went inside with Mommy and Bubba and I took a nap. When I woke up Nana and Aunt Laverne were at my house too. Mommy freaked out about my leg when she changed my diaper. She called the pediatrician on call and he told her she was being silly. That made Mommy mad. She took my pants off and walked around showing everyone my leg. It had started becoming itchy again. When Aunt Tiffany and Uncle Todd showed up they told Mommy I needed to see a doctor. Mommy put some clothes on me and we all went into Cullman to see a doctor. We waited in the waiting room for 2 hours. I was having a lot of fun. Everyone thought I was really funny except Mommy. I was climbing on the furniture, running around all over the room, and talking really loud. Everyone was laughing at me, except Mommy. I don’t know where her sense of humor was. She must have left it at home. Daddy even thought I was being funny. Anyway, it was worth a few spankings to me. Those poor sick people in the waiting room where bored until I got there. I cheered them all up! We were in the waiting room for so long that I even got to eat M&M’s for supper! When I finally got to see the doctor he told Mommy that my leg was in really bad shape. He said that I needed to go to the ER because I needed stronger medicine than what he had there. So then we loaded back up and went to the ER. Mommy and Daddy stopped and bought me some chicken fingers and French fries on the way. I must have fell asleep because when I woke up there was a nurse sticking something in my ear. She asked Mommy a bunch of questions and then she took us back to a little bed with a curtain around it. There must have been a girl my age in the bed on the other side of the curtain. I heard her talking my language. The doctor came in and I don’t know what he was doing to her but she screamed for EVER!! Her Mommy should have brought her a sucker. When the doctor decided to leave her alone he came over to me. He looked at my leg and told Mommy a few things. A few minutes later a man came in and he hurt me!! He stuck something into my leg and made me cry. When he finished Mommy picked me up and snuggled with me for a while. I didn’t cry for near as long as that little girl had. Mommy said it’s because I am big. When they finally let us leave I was exhausted. I fell asleep in my carseat and didn’t wake up until the next morning when it was time to get ready for church. I don’t know what a mow-skeet-o is but I hope they leave me alone from now on. I didn’t even get to enjoy my new playground. I guess that will be a good adventure for next weekend.

Water Falling From the Sky

I must have miscounted my days this week because I could have sworn today was suppose to be “Fry-day” but Mommy and Daddy both stayed home today. Mommy laid around on the couch a lot again today. She must be really sleepy! I got to stay outside with Daddy most of the day today!! It was a lot of fun. I helped him to build some fence-type thing for the front porch. We got to make a lot of noise. It was great! Some time around lunch water started falling from the sky. I’m not really sure why but Daddy kept wanting me to come into the garage so I didn’t get wet. Him and Mommy make me get in the bathtub every night….I don’t get what the difference is. Grown ups!

My Day with Aunt Terri

This morning I think Mommy was a little confused. We got up and ready like usual. We drove towards school for just a minute and then she turned around and went back home! Then, the best thing ever happened! I got to go home with Aunt Terri. Usually I have to go to school and Bubba gets to play with Aunt Terri all day. It isn’t fair. But today it was my turn! I went to her house and played with her, Levi, Coty, and Justin. It was great!!! Then Mimi came and picked me up and drove me back to Mommy. Then I ate mashed potatoes (my favorite!!) and macaroni and cheese. Mimi only stayed a little while and then she left. Mommy loved on me a lot tonight. She said that she missed me today. She didn’t really want to play with me a lot though. Basically she just laid on the couch and watched me play. She did let me watch as much Imagination Movers as I wanted though. Yay!!

Bubba's Dead-e-kay-shon

This morning when I woke up Daddy gave me a bath and put some clothes on me. After everyone got dressed we went to church. When we got there Mimi, Pawpaw Phil, Nana, Pawpaw Tam, Granny, and Aunt Terri were there!! They said something about coming because Bubba was being “dead-e-kate-ed” whatever that means. I kept running away from Mommy and Daddy during church. It was so funny! I would run down the aisle and then run into the row in front of them. Mommy or Daddy would come running after me. I think they like to play chase. Daddy took me out of the church a few times which is great! I love when he does that. It’s so boring in there. When he brought me back in we all went up to the front, which was strange. Usually we just hang out in the back row. We went up on the stage and Daddy handed Bubba to the Pastor. He walked around with him held up high in the air and everyone was looking at him. I can understand why, he’s awfully cute. Bubba didn’t really like it though. He started crying so the Pastor handed him back to Daddy. That made him happier. We stood up there for a little while and then we went back to our seats. Luckily Daddy let me go home with Mimi and Pawpaw. I watched Imagination Movers with them until Mommy called us. Then we left and went to Bobby’s to eat lunch. I ate some grilled cheese, French fries, baked potato, fish fingers, hushpuppies, and some chocolate cake. It was yummy!! Then we went back home. I was so sleepy that I fell asleep before we got home. When I woke up I got to play outside in the dirt with Daddy a little more.

The Best Day Ever

Today was the best day ever! Not only did I get to play outside all day, but I also got to ride on the lawn mower and the tractor! Mommy drove Daddy, Bubba, and me out to Uncle Todd’s house this morning so Daddy could get the tractor. When we got back home Mimi and Mawmaw were at my house! I watched Imagination Movers with them and I ate some cookies until Daddy got home. Then Mommy, Mimi, Mawmaw, and Bubba left. I stayed home with Daddy and helped with work. We moved dirt from the backyard to the front yard. I’m not exactly sure why. I think Daddy just likes to play in the dirt like me. When Mommy got back home I came inside for a little bit and rested with her. I was tired and hot! I only stayed inside for a little while though because I knew that Daddy needed my help outside. I fell asleep early tonight because I was so tired! It was such a fun day!
